It's already proved that social media and digital tools encourage us to be better and more creative writers. Digital technologies shape writing in many ways and also become helpful for teaching writing to primary and secondary school learners. Internet and digital technologies such as social networking sites, cell phones and texting, generally facilitating our personal expression and creativity, broadening the audience for our written material, and encouraging us to write more often in more formats than may have been the case in prior generations.
Technology and ICT have re-engineered our society in recent years. Some might say technology provides the seven survival skills exposed by 21st century learning. They are:
